Perledo

Perledo, a small mountain town, is located on the promontory overlooking Varenna about 3 km from the shore of Lake Como.

In addition to hosting the well-known Vezio Castle in its territory, it is rich in olive groves, also present just below the castle walls, from which a renowned olive oil is extracted.

The village of Perledo hosts valuable artisan activities, a parish church of Baroque reconstruction while in the rest of the municipal territory there are numerous oratories, including those from the Romanesque period.

How to Get There

As for the Vezio Castle, the village is easily reachable both on foot along a characteristic mule track and by car along a carriage road.
